The Delerium release of Karma in 1997 spawned a new sound for the band. Rather than dark ambient soundscapes which previous releases sounded like Karma has an ethereal dance pop feel featuring vocalists Sarah McLachlan, Jacqui Hunt and Kristy Thirsk.
